Snakes pose threat to Floridians venturing outside
There are 50 species of snakes in Florida, the majority of which form an important part of the ecosystem. In fact, some snakes, such as the king black snake, prey on poisonous or venomous snakes. In general, Florida’s snakes are good, because they eat insects, rodents and other small prey.
