Q&A: how do you tie an elastic cord in a knot?

Question by X Lady X: how do you tie an elastic cord in a knot?
im making jewelry and i need to know an easy way to knot an elastic cord (the kind that you put beads on to make a ring or something)

well if you are making a ring.. just wrap it around someones finger and make a normal knot (try not to make it too tight) and then cut off the long pieces
