I just received these earrings a few minutes ago and I must say that I’m quite impressed with the quality of them… Especially for the price! Garnet is my birthstone so I’m very familiar with the stone. The garnets in these earrings are a beautiful deep red. The stones are a nice size in comparison to the earrings. Don’t expect much with the diamonds. There are 7 of them in each earring, but they are so small, they don’t give much sparkle in the light. The presentation of the earrings make up for it though. All in all, I’m impressed and glad I purchased them. You can’t beat the quality for this price!

I would agree with the other reviews that say they the earrings look nice and all that. What I don’t like is the packaging…. If this is a gift for a wife or girlfriend, and you want to avoid your loved one looking at you and saying…a….gee….thanks? …Then you must open them first to get rid of the incredibly cheap feel of the packaging. There is a China sticker on the box and a “Made in China” piece of cardboard strung to one of the earrings, and of course the cheap felt bag that came with it…..Ditch the stickers and the bag and maybe get some nicer stuffing for the little black box they come in.
I would give a higher rating if the packaging was decent. Looks like it came over from China in a container load that will sell for $5 on a street in New York.

The garnets look worse then glass. They are very cloudy and dull. The gold is very rough and not shiny. I was extremely disappointed in the quality of these ear rings. The photo is not accurate in quality to the item I received.
